Trails on these two peaks are in great condition. We hiked up Blueberry Ledge to the summit or Whiteface and then descended via Rollins then up Passaconaway via Dicey's Mill, returning to Ferncroft This is a great winter hike - just under 12K - especially when the wind is cranking from the North or Northwest. There is plenty of snow on the trail. Light traction - micro-spikes- is still needed. No need for snowshoes. We saw a few folks trying to bare boot it and they were all over the place.
