Acadia National Park Dorr, Cadillac, Pemetic 4.21.13

Absolutely beautiful day in Acadia. Trail was mostly free of mud but some wet spots. Ledges had a little running water. Snow on trail was gone except for few patches between Dorr and Cadillac, and high on Pemetic. For Dog hikers. LEASH YOUR DOGS. They will fine you if they catch you unleashed. I saw someone getting a ticket from a ranger for an unleashed dog. It was with a runner and was well mannered and on voice command and nobody nearby besides me and the J Man. He passed us and .5 miles or so the ranger passed him and was writing the ticket. I think a warning would have sufficed given how dead the park was but they must be hurting due to budget cuts.
