Nelson Crag Trail in winter?

anyone have any experience with this trail in winter conditions? Always looking for lions head alternatives.

I know it can get brutal in winter weatherwise like everywhere else up there, but more concerned with traffic, steep terrain, avalanche threats, etc..

I assume it is not well traveled and will need trail breaking. I know it gets pretty steep towards the alpine garden, but I don't think it anything that technical.

Weekend weather looks real good so a longer washington trip might be in the cards.
