Trail Conditions: As expected, due to amount of rain recently, there was water and mud in areas but very minor inconvenience. Trail maintenance is great. Water runoff control is exceptional. Sheltered ledgy areas were slick in spots. One step over blow down on Forest City Trail and one side of one bridge has partially collapsed but still solid. Trails all well marked. Trails were saturated for sure so more rain last night and forecasted possibility each of the next several afternoons could worsen the mud situation.
Special Equipment: Nothing special needed. Poles were helpful. Were some biting insects on the summit but that was the only place I even noticed them.
Comments: Fog did lift and clouds thinned a bit but it was definitely not a stellar view day. Very humid and just the slightest breeze on top.
