Otter River, Mass Avatar: Leisurely winter hike o
Date: 7-14-13

Conditions: Trails in very good shape. Some minor mud all the way but most can be avoided. Few blow downs, most are step overs with only one blocking trail at Bondcliff trail end of Wilderness Trail. All stream crossings were rock hops. Bugs were a nuisance in many areas but not really festive so easily annoyed. Some wore repellant others didn't and it didn't seem to make any difference.

Equipment: Poles for stream crossing, sun block and plenty of liquid.

Comments: Clouds breaking and fog lifted by the time we got to Guyot so some good views. Down right hot on Bondcliff, no wind to speak of, and very humid. Lots of pemi runners out today. Must have seen at least 8.
