Trail Conditions: Went up Tuckerman Ravine Trail (TRT) to the Lion Head Trail (LHT) summer route junction then up LHT to the cone and back to TRT -- the loop was created on the way down as we descended via the ravine's TRT. There was minimal mud or wetness on the LHT minus the section between the Alpine Garden Trail and the exposed rocks; that section is always wet, but it was easy to navigate. TRT on the headwall had some wet patches of course, but it, too, was easy to hike. Do be warned: if hiking these wet sections very early in the day, one may find ice on some surfaces. The rest offered great conditions: no blowdowns, mostly dry trails, easy walking. The crossing at the top of the headwall was easy.

Special Equipment Used: None needed, unless hiking the wet sections early.

Comments: Hiked this one leading a group professionally -- second such hike this week (love my job). Both ascents were terrific, but this one: wow, such a perfect day. Cool, clear, sunny, light winds... very nice.
