Mount Washington
Tuckerman Ravine Trail / Fire Road to Harvard Cabin / Huntington Ravine Trail / Off-Trail towards Central Gully
Date of Hike: 12/13/2013
Trail Conditions: A few inches of snow on Tuckerman Ravine Trail (no traction needed), breaking trail in 3-6 inches of fresh snow on Fire Road and Huntington Ravine Trail (with some sections of running water hiding under the snow), after passing Fan fresh deep snow up to two feet, before we turned around at approximately 4700 feet due to avalanche concerns.
Special Equipment Required: All gear/clothing for low temperatures and high winds necessary. Didn't throw on traction until after the Fan.
Comments: Very cold, lots of new snow. Photos/video can be found here http://brian03104.blogspot.com/2013/12/12132013-mount-washington-attempt-via.html
