Date of Hike: 1-4-14
Trail Conditions: Trail was unbroken with 12" of powder down low and 16" on the ridge. Stream crossings were not a problem.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes
Comments: Van and I began at Stintson Lake at the Three Ponds trailhead. Stintson Lake Road is plowed past the trailhead, at least as far as the old Kineo Trailhead near the waterfall. The parking area is also plowed with room for half a dozen vehicles.
