Trails: Moat Mountain Trail south to north
Conditions: Mostly crusty snow cover. Some stretches up South Moat were bare ground. There were also some icy patches coming off of Middle Moat and going up North Moat.
Special equipment: Used MICROspikes the entire hike, they offered enough traction but some people used crampons.
Notes: Good views and not many people on the mountains. We finished just as the snow was starting to come in.
