Conditions: did this hike Sunday with GMC group, conditions were excellent. Trail is now fully broken out. This was an out and back on the Long Trail from Rt 11. We opted not to do a traverse to Mad Tom Notch as the snow was pretty darn deep.
Special Equipment: snowshoes. I wouldn't say it's packed hard enough yet to bareboot. Wind protection for your face on the ski slopes-it was howling up there on Sunday!
