Plenty of snow and no ice to speak of on broken-out trails. Snow got soft and slushy at the beginning of Brook trail by the end of the day.
Special equipment needed: Microspikes helped up and down the snowy slabs.
Windy only at the summit; a few snowmobiles were on top. We thought we'd see more people today. Lots of dogs, which was fun, but also several dog poops in the middle of the trail. We dodged them - others weren't that lucky.
