Date of Hike: Day Pond - Colchester (2/25) Shensipsit - Glastonbury/Hebron (2/23)
Trail Conditions: On 2/25 The snow had frozen up and easy to follow, overall 5 - 8 inches of snow. On 2/23 warm temps had snow soft and there was 8-12 inches. trail harder to follow as there was less traffic.
Special Equipment Required: On Sunday, I probably could have worn the snowshoes to help with footing but the other two people did not have them. The ten year old didn't sink in much. Did wear the snowshoes on Tuesday and probably didn't need them.
Comments: More snow in the CT forecast.....
