Trail much smoother than summer with good walking surface - most people had microspikes but I didn't slip once without them the whole way up. Snowshoes only useful if leaving trail, maybe those with real crampons were headed to Ike.
Only one blowdown easily bypassed, small rivulets still frozen.
Wore 3 layers including neck and hands for wind near summit.
Sunny days like this make winter hiking great!
