Our crew of three SubSiggers went thru both trails clearing most of the blowdowns which hadn't been done for about three years. Much easier going now. Wet and muddy in places but only a few patches of snow.
I had been up to Mt Parker the day before. Also in decent shape as far as the summit. North of the summit, however, still has two to three feet of unbroken snow. Good place to practice your postholing.
