Trail Conditions: Trail from the Cabin has some erosion, not well marked but easy to follow. We had opted to walk down the road and then cut over to the trail.

Special Equipment Required: A better map then we had. My first time in this area other than driving by on Route 165.

Comments: If I read the map right, some foot trails, and many trails that are, (and still are) dirt roads. Our walking took about 20 minutes so we went to another trailhead lot hoping to find a trail map but the box was empty. We then drove through the area for a while. This is a fairly large area in RI with several areas for stream fishing, and we saw 18-20 people on horseback. Only saw a few people in the Midway Trail area who were walking their dogs. Everyone else was either fishing or riding. Saw one bike rider but they were with a group of riders. Not too far from home but need to know more about this RI gem. Also did a little recon around the Beach Pond area the start of the Tippecansett Trail for an upcoming hike, likely in the fall with the Boy Scouts.
