Date of Hike: 8/29/14
Trails: Misttersill-Cannon, Kinsman Ridge, Lonesome Lake, Pemi Trail
Conditions and Comments: There is construction going on near (but not on) the beginning of the trail with equipment at the end of lot one. The trail sign is just past the bottom of the chair lift past the construction. The trail is blazed with yellow markers on temporary metal posts, blazed rocks here and there, too. The Mittersill-Cannon Trail is a gentle approach that goes over Mittersill Peak and then heads to Cannon. The views are pretty spectacular and it provides an alternative two season approach to Cannon. The rest of the trails are easy to follow and well maintained. Report / Pics
Parking: Head to the Mittersill entrance (Past Cannon Ski Area) and head to lot one, there was construction equipment in half of lot one so we parked in lot two.
