    White Thanksgiving

Snow is almost over in Thornton, about 6" of wet heavy stuff.

'Bout a foot of concrete like snow near the Mass/NH border. Certainly a good base material for skiing or the trails.

    Happy Turkey Day,

The Hampton/Exeter area has about 6" of heavy, wet snow as well.

Here are the current snow depths from NOAA:

Anyone on the trails today? I can't wait to walk on snow for a change!

Spent half an hour tromping in the local woods ... heavy snow that will pack beautifully as soon as two or three pairs of snowshoes have gone over it.

8" in Gorham. It was somewhat drier than south so less tree damage.

We received about 12" here in Canaan (west central NH). It looks light and fluffy but shovels heavy. Seems to pack well. Can't wait to track out my local trail.

I got 8" in Dutchess County NY! Very heavy and wet stuff. Totally beautiful! And then a little ice to top it off!

6 to 8 inches of fluffy powder on the AT between Hanover and Three Mile Road, Etna (start of Moose Mtn. Trail).

About 6-8" down low and 10-16 up high doing Percival and Morgan today. Top layer down low and everything up high was fluffy. Bottom few inches down low was pretty wet. No base under this, so snowshoes wouldn't have helped.
