Waterville Valley has snowshoe rentals listed for $15/day. Anybody know what kind of shoes they are? My guess is they won't be sufficient for serious hiking, but I'd love to be surprised. (My gear closet isn't deep enough for the number of people I'm needing to loan snowshoes to.) Other suggestions for rental options in the area would be great.
