Is the Mt Clinton Road parking lot plowed?

The forest service says the road is closed but I think the gate is after the parking lot. Do they plow the parking lot? I'm taking a group up there this Saturday and need to tell them to meet at the Clinton road lot or Highland center.

The lot is normally plowed and was two weekends ago after a storm. It can take a few days after a major storm to get it plowed. I also noticed two weekends ago that the parking fee tube was not covered over implying that the FS might be checking parking passes.

You are correct that the gate is past the parking lot.

In snowy conditions the lot can get a lot of snow drifting in.
