Trail packed out with snow cover starting at about 2,000'. Some icy spots the first two miles. Water crossing not a problem. One blowdown higher up and a few old leaning trees - all with walk arounds. Post holes on the edge of the trail.
Special equipment needed: Light traction like micro spikes will work just fine.
The hardest part of hiking today was getting out of bed at 5 AM for the drive up. Hike was easy as winter 4ks go. Steep spots were a good workout. Several groups out hiking today. A little bit of wind started up as we were heading back to the car.
