Route: From Pike Brook Road trailhead out and back.

Note, there is a "road closed 2.3(?) miles ahead" sign posted at CR 6 (Hulett's Landing road and Pike Brook Road when driving to the trailhead from the north. The trailhead is only .8 miles from CR6 so you can simply ignore that sign and drive in between the cones. This prob means there is a bridge out or something south of the trailhead which means the more adventurous types may get stuck trying to get to the trailhead from Pike Brook road from the south...

Trail conditions: Mostly dry, a few very minor mud spots, I could see this trail being very wet in the spring and noted some herdpaths around wet sections. it also looks like the initial climb off the dirt road sections follows a streambed.

Bugs were definitely harrassing on this hot and humid day at the rock summit overlooking Lk George. Firetower monstrosity is of course, closed and fenced. Trail is in pretty good shape now that it's dry.
