Another great trip report.There may not be "blank spots" on maps in the northeast anymore but you sure are visiting spots that could be.

This brook was impacted significantly by Hurricane Irene. Although the gravel nature of the stream bed allows constant erosion of the banks, Irene made a huge difference.
 
Thank you for posting. They have become appointment reading for me. They have also been a push to go investigate some drainages before you post a TR report about them.
 
Wow! Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement! I love doing bushwhacks because it helps me relax after a long work week. Carrigain is my obsession lately, so I'm going back ASAP.
