Kali - Canine GRID finisher #2

You won't see this announcement from Hiker Ed, but yesterday Kali finished her grid making her only the second dog (first female) after Pepper to hike all 48 four thousand footers in all 12 months. Heather and Kali left the North Twin Trailhead and did Hale, Zealand, West Bond, Bond, Bondcliff, South Twin and North Twin to get Bond and Bondcliff for Kali in August.

Looks like some tired pups!

Thank you Tim! It was a great seven years hiking along side this amazing little dog! She is truly my heart and soul and has kept me out there. The Grid got me hooked on hiking on days when many stay home and that little dog has inspired me to keep going. We have become quite the team and sometimes when I look at her I miss her already. They do not stay with us as long as we wish. Kali is one amazing trail dog! And I thank everyone that has put up with the two of us on hikes over the years. We love you all!
