I'm in Las Vegas for a conference and I added a day to revisit Red Rock Canyon. It poured yesterday and so the desert had lots of critters running around and the moisture caused the fairly rare phenomenon of upslope clouds but it was spectacular like last year. This year I included Turtlehead Peak which is slightly taller than Mount Washington.
