"Lyman Brook Rd" access to Goback Mountain - open?

Folks,

Curious about the status of what I call Lyman Brook Rd which starts from Meriden Hill Road in Columbia, NH and ends on Bog Pond Road in North Stratford. (This would present the closest approach road-wise to Goback Mountain from the east.)

In recent years this has been gated and was an active logging zone. Recent rumours have reached me that it may now be a summer ATV route and a winter snowmobile route, which makes me wonder if it is now always ungated from the Meriden Road side? And, if so, is it driveable (some satellite images look as if the culverts have been pulled out)?

Anyone know?

Beta from summer of 2013 it was gated at the at the entrance to Lyman brook. Your info may be more recent than mine.
