I do not believe it ever opened this season. There were recent reports that the owner was close to a sale and was somewhat optimistic that they would be open in the late season.

Saddleback has not opened this season.

This is so sad. It's arguably Maine's 3rd best ski resort. Gotta find a way to bring it back.

Agreed its sad, but it will open when the sale is final.
In many ways it could be argued its Maine's BEST ski resort. (Personally I have always loved the feel at Saddleback over both SR and the Loaf. Since the addition of Burnt mt, I'd say the Loaf tops the list due to terrain and length of runs but Neither resort can hold a candle to the laid back local feel of Saddleback.
