Planning a 4 day trip to visit Ellen, Killington and Abraham the May long weekend (hopefully blackflies aren't biting yet)

Planning to bring my tent and find someplace to camp along the trail - is it usually pretty easy to find a spot?

thanks for any info

There are a number of shelters before and after those peaks, but yes, if you want to camp away from other people, you should be able to find a spot if you're not near treeline.

Thanks for the response! I see you are Central Vermont - any idea on what conditions are like?

Not sure you will see this before the long weekend but trail conditions in Vermont are very dry. A 180 degree difference between last year and this year. There will plenty of black flies so bring some protection. I hope you have a great hike.
