Nancy Pond trail clean except for a number of small branches that hitch a ride on your shoes/poles. Rooty and some of the 100 or so bog bridges are slippery. All water crossings doable. One of the planks across a small water crossing is in the water (ponds area). The "No Camping" sign at the end of Norcross Pond is missing. Herdpath to summit well defined, rooty and eroded in spots. There's a sign at the summit.

Day was cool and it didn't start to sprinkle until we got to the herdpath - then showers off and on. Wet, steep with slippery roots is always a challenge! Nice views, particularly at the "lunch" rock at the end of Norcross Pond. This hike has so much to offer - ponds, cascades, views, wilderness, challenge.
