A few shots from our recent peakbagging/backpacking trip to New York.
Our itinerary:
Weds 9/28 - drive over from ME/NH including a ferry across Lake Champlain; set up camp at Heart Lake, day hike Street and Nye
Thurs 9/29 - move to Lake Colden
Fri 9/30 - day hike Marcy, Skylight and Redfield; 2nd night at Colden
Saturday - move to the Avalanche lean-to, day hike Table Top
Sunday - out and home.
On Nye
Bearproof? Not so much. These were on display at the High Peaks Info Center. We used their Backpacker's Cache canisters
