Mt. Greylock has some nice, open views from the top. A loop that starts at the Money Brook trailhead at the end of Hopper Road in Williamstown would be good.

"Up high" is a relative term but plenty of walking on ridge lines in this area. Allander and Frissell loops are very pretty with good views and very moderate terrain. Usually you get the traverse to yourself.

Money Brook Trail from Hopper Road over Prospect, Williams, and Greylock is as high as you can get in Massachusetts. Views on all three peaks and then ridge trails in between.

Greylock is about as high as you can get and some hikes in the Taconics but a loop incorporating Sage Ravine, the AT, mt. Everett and a road walk might be the most interesting.

The Hoosac Range Trail is a good alternative if you'd like to look at Greylock rather than climb it.
