Haystack from Johns Brook Lodge 7/18/17

Torrential rain the day before made for extremely wet, flooded conditions. This hampered our progress. This year's mud also made for slow going. Bring bug repellent.

What started out as a two peakbagging adventure soon was pared down to one peak due to our late start and the poor conditions. Still we were grateful for the incredible views and quiet summit experience that Haystack offers. http://summithikinginnewengland.blog...york-july.html
