    MWOBS Password

Anyone else getting prompted for a username and password when trying to access the MWOBS site?

I was on it earlier too and no problem. Check conditions, webcams, high summits forecast, download some of the F6's. No log in prompts.

Seems fine now. Perhaps they were doing an update and locked it down temporarily.

They have had issues for a few weeks. Many of the linked web cams have been dark and off line. Problem could be on either end i guess.

Nice Observer Comments on Obs website about difficulties keeping Mesonet system of remote stations on line and reporting.

Dead batts, heavy snow, overcast and extreme cold all conspire to take down the stations.

They are aware of issues and working on them, especially the Wildcat data relay.

    It's -30 F at the Lakes station mid-day as I post this!
