    tupper lake snow conditions

    want to hike near tupper lake friday. doing a small mtn, want to know trail conditions up there. Is it muddy, dry or still no packed?

    3 of us hiked Mt. Seward on 04-03. Below 2000 feet, no snow anywhere. 2000 -2500 feet, snow patches depending on orientation of slope. Above 2500 we wore snowshoes. At around 3000-3500 we began postholing with our snowshoes on and discovering spruce traps. 3500-4300 feet, 4-5 feet of snow.
