    The Blue Hour

    There aren't enough photos here anymore. Let's change that.

    Not technically blue hour but your photo reminded me of a sunrise hike I did up Caps Ridge Trail on 10/28/17. One of my favorite hikes.

    I LOVE that cairn! I take a picture of it every time I take that trail. Such a cool spot.

    It was before the blue hour but the blue in contrast with the white on Moosilauke that day was almost painful

    Mt. Moosilauke, with a lone figure at the summit, at sunset -- very much the blue hour...

    (Some folks might able to date this image from the summit signs; they've changed at least a couple of times over the past decade.)

    Its an illusion because you can't see that the trail bears right, but it looks like you might need a parachute to proceed from there on the descent.
