Hi all,
Here's a great photo-essay about the network of free shelters available to trampers throughout Wales and Scotland.
These shelters rely on volunteer labor for maintenance and upkeep and are located in some beautifully remote areas. (I especially like the picture of the Cuillin Horseshoe on the Isle of Skye.) And as we have discussed in some of our threads here, their system is in need of younger folks to step up and take over the work.
