Hiker gets caught under an ice bridge in Tucks

Given the current temps, its a bit odd hearing about someone getting caught under an ice fall

Glad that he will recover, the snow arch is a near annual event. Went out for a short local hiker in CT this morning and was glad to walk in a green tunnel, the open spots were places to avoid. No bugs in Niantic this morning.
    Have fun & be safe

Knowing that he'll recover I'd kinda like to see the video he was filming.

Does anyone keep track of this collapse event like they do Ice Out on Winnipesaukee?

Is this unusually late in the season for the collapse or about average?
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Strange days indeed -- most peculiar, mama

Does anyone know if the picture from iBerkshire.com is from the White Mountain in California?

It appears to be from a park in Italy that has been horizontally squashed.

Thanks JoshandBaron. I had through that maybe iBerkshire.com had possible googled Whites Mountains images and that image came up. I had looked at images of the Whites in California and could not find a similar matching image.
