    K2 Winter Ascent

    I guess this long coveted "first" is on the books. Pretty impressive. I like how the team summited together so no individual took credit for being first.

The article I think mentioned several teams were there to try in another weather window toward the end of the month. I think anyway. I watched 3 different K2 documentaries this weekend so I may be muddling all these events together.

    sad for the death, the Sherpa team is very cool and historic
