There may be fewer of them statewide but WMUR reported a couple of car/moose accidents this morning. The wetland patch at the end of my road adjacent to RT2 had signs yesterday of a moose visiting.

Not only in NH only: Moose: https://www.wfsb.com/news/multiple-...cle_616db1b6-aaea-11eb-85cb-07d63fda8e71.html
Bear: https://www.wfsb.com/news/dog-bruta...cle_64b76d1c-ac48-11eb-96a8-9772487c895b.html

Now Pardon me while I make sure that Ralph the Wonder Llama is still in his pen as CT drivers are not good avoiding beast with sharp teeth

I hope they didn't hit the moose trained to sign complicated insurance forms.

The Bear have woken up too. I've seen two in NH within the past 3 weeks.

Ayup!

Seen on April 24 between Prospect Hill and Perry Pond Peak:

Also seen that day: Bald Eagle; fresh, large coyote tracks, many more fresh bear tracks, a Spruce Grouse on the shoulder of Rt. 3 between 2nd & 3rd Ct. Lakes, a roadside Moose on Rt. 3 between Twin Mountain and I-93, and a large deer, several yards in front of my car on I-93 South of Plymouth.

They say they leave on snow shoes and comeback on snowshoes......that's the black flies of course and they are not just on the roads.
