I was out last week in Central NH (my hiking partner said I couldn't say where) just shy of the Whites and over 2,000 feet where the mostly bare and rocky summit had many blueberry plants and the first berries of the year were enjoyed and consumed.

Now to visit hikes closer to home that I know have them too!

Thanks for the update. I expect I will be heading over to my favorite spot. This wet weather may help the crop.

I made my run over to Rumford Whitecap a bit earlier than normal this year. Yes there are blueberries but nowhere like past years. Looks like I will have to live with a bag Wyman's Maine blueberries.

In Harriman State Park yesterday, Lichen Trail had the best blueberries I've had in years. Many harvesters out there. Also a black bear sighting.
