Anyone who has skied or visited Tucks in the winter most likely was safer because of Brad. He was a snow ranger from 1958 to 2001. He was also a "local" from Berlin which is rarity these days in the National Forest system. Its pretty well standard these days that folks rotate around the country only to end up in their "home" district near retirement.

There is a disconnect between the 2 above posts in terms of age and location among other things. Are you sure that's the right person Mike?
 
I wonder how many lives Brad saved by posting avi reports for all those years? Many I'd guess.
