    Ed Webster -- RIP

Sad news about our New England climbing legend...

Taken by a heart attack on Nov 29 at home in Maine.

    He was 66.

RIP, somewhere I have I believe Steve V.'s book which describes the Everest Trip. Somehow I missed that he was a New Englander before he went around the world.
    Have fun & be safe

Ed will be missed. He was a neighbor of mine back in the 90’s and also frequented the climbing shop i worked at. Here is a couple of photos of the third edition of his climbing guide he so graciously signed for me when it came out. Best part of Ed was he was a regular guy first then a climber. He really set himself aside from some of the other climbers at the time that had their heads way to far up their butts.
