I want to do the Mohawk Trail/ AT loop this summer starting at the southern end of the Mohawk. Where's a good place to park?

Either side of the bridge at the intersection of rt 7 and 4 at Cornwall Bridge.
There's AT parking across the bridge (west side of river) and Mohawk Trail parking just up 4 (east side of river).
There's also a bank and grocery store on the east side of the river, you could ask about parking
there if you thought it would be better.
While you're there, check out the funky little left-behind "village" under the bridge.
No wonder there are ghost stories up there.
And bring a bear canister, there are some curious bears in the woods now.

Thanks, I drove by there last week and saw a no overnight parking sign on route 4 on the East side of the river and it got me wondering where to park. I'm planning on hanging my food. I was at Sage's and Brassie Brook last month and had no problem.
