It sounds like from the AMC guide that the Carter-Moriah trailhead parking in Gorham is in a residential area, does anyone know if it is OK to park overnight there?

It is legal to park at the trailhead but I would recomend parking about 200 feet down the road at the utility right of way where there is overflow parking . The parking at the trailhead is a turnaround so its nice to leave it open. There have been very rare break in issues over the years, but as many can attest, Gorham has a very active police force that keeps an eye on things,
