One of the great advantages of meeting GO on our Reddington trip last weekend was his knowledge of the area. He took us to the Mt. Abraham trailhead, adjacent Kingfield, ME so we could find the trailhead now and save gas and time on our upcoming September trip.

After making our way to the trailhead, we saw that someone had :( removed the Fire Warden trailhead sign and burned it for firewood.

If your looking it for the trailhead, be advised it is unmarked for now, so just look for the path into the woods. Also, if there is trash there like we found, please be kind enough to drive it out and put it into a trash can.

If you do find a mess or vandalism, let the board and GO know, he is a registered Maine guide and can take measures against the perps.
