hey folks - I'm packing up the wife & kids (a malamute and a lab/rot mix) and heading up to Middlebury Gap for some hiking & camping this weekend. We're camping around Lake Dunmore and I'm looking for some recommendations for some day hikes while we are there.
Right now I'm planning on hiking up to the Battel Shelter & Breadloaf Mtn.
Also maybe Rattlesnake Cliffs Trail over Lake Dunmore. Anybody know if the vista points are nice for the sunset?
