I was at the Lakota Wolf preserve a few weeks ago. The wolves are gorgeous. There are also foxes and bobcats (all are separate). The couple who run the preserve are really selfless and love what they do.

Done saturday 2/2. Hiked out of Moonhaw road. Barebooted part of the way up Friday. Used crampons to get through the chute but microspikes would have been fine. Changed over to spikes at the summit and stayed with them the rest of the day. Not enough snow for shoes. Traction necessary...
