  • Yes that was my oldest (20). I had my 4 boys there but couldn't convince them to run the relay. As for my "pacer" I had to laugh when he tip toed right around the first mud pile he came to. I showed him how its "done" and on the next one he fell right on his a**. He did get me to the last aid station in time though. Nice job getting through the last leg to finish sub 12. I don't remember seeing you at the last aid station (I was trying to focus on the girl with the red sleeves) but it took me forever to finish. Too many Oreos. I still had the legs to run but it was too dark and slippery. First time I tried an ultra. I didn't know there were so many VFTT's there bit I did speak to caveman for a bit (not that he has a clue who I am). Going to try the Stonecat 50 miler in Topsfield, Ma in November and then retire from ultras. See you on the trails (Lincoln/Lafayette loop Columbus weekend).
Yes that was me,and it was an honor to spend some time running with you. Was that your son coming on to pace you?How did he like the conditions?
