We have a stay at home order not a shelter in place.

At least at this date, hiking was encouraged and the ability to social distance on trails was supported.
I keep telling myself I shouldn't let this get to me because I can...
These closures seem like nonsense to me. I haven't changed my hiking patterns and although some trails seem more popular, it has not been hard for me to social distance. I get out early or at odd times and park in the parking lot. I've worn a buff over my face as I pass others. Others give...
I did! There is nothing not to love. It was my nieces' first time above treeline. One was so sore she skipped school the next day, but loved it. Nice meeting you too.
Bumped into Marty today, and his reminiscing about this hike made me look it up. Unbelievable memory, Marty! Great to see you and LarryD. So glad you and I are still out there.
This is the closest trail to home for me too, and I am always up for a quick end to end. PM or email me if you ever want to try to coordinate a car spot. I'm off this week and wanted to go Tuesday, but will have to do an out an back.
Glad you got out and enjoyed it!

Looking to finish my winter 48 this season and I have just Eisenhower left. I've got 3-4 possible dates when I can get out again. PM me if you might be interested in joining for this winter hike.

I miss her, the thought of her when she and my Charlie met on Isolation.
Peace.
In sympathy...
Hi, I'm just reading this now. I was also wishing I could take a weekday off work to finish my winter 48. I have 9 left, 5-7 hikes and Madison, Adams are two of them. So are are the Tris. Yesterday was my last day out though on Hale. Next Saturday is my daughter's b'day. Maybe we could do some...
I'm trying to remember if the huts provide a pillow and those wool blankets in caretaker self serve season. Is it just one blanket as opposed to the 3 you get in full serve season?
Thanks.
