all tracks were broken through. you could easily fit a mans fist inside the tracks and they were all 6-8 inches deep. i at 160 lbs plus pack with msr's on was sinking in the same depth

Another strip of pavement? That's what people on this board want? :mad: I realize that a more natural looking dirt or gravel trail( 10 to 12 ft is a road in my eyes) will require more maintenance but wouldn't that be offset by the cheaper initial cost over paved?
