    Mt. Beacon Campsite

    I'm told there is a new camp site on Mt. Beacon, NY reached from from a new train stop along the Hudson River. Is there a web site for more info? I haven't been able to find one. 30 years ago I used to camp on 'Bull Hill", nearby and would like to relive some memories.

    DEC: Avoid Hiking High Peaks in Mud Season

    I appreciate the responses and the voting. I trust the DEC will make proper decisions regarding management of the High Peaks. Also, there is ongoing impressive trail maintenance efforts which presumably will slow degradation of trails from increased use by the hiking public.
